UK tourists will no longer need to quarantine after holidaying in Portugal, but travellers returning from Croatia will now have to self-isolate the Government has announced.

The number of cases in Croatia is now at a seven-day average of 27.4 cases per 100,000, considerably higher than the Government’s threshold of 20 cases per 100,000. This time last week, Croatia’s number was at 7.8 per 100,000.

The number of cases per 100,000 on a seven-day average in Portugal is 14.9 – lower than the threshold of 20 set by the Government.

Visitors returning from Austria and Trinidad & Tobago will also have to quarantine for 14 days.
