Originally established in 2018 as a Belgium & French inspired sandwich shop, R&V has now expanded its offering and delivers catering to many companies across Greater Manchester.
Following the success of their Oxford Street shop, they decided to open up a second location in central Piccadilly, enabling more food lovers to enjoy their tasty sandwiches.
Owner, Simon Dasnoy tells us:
“We are so pleased to open our new shop and have been warmly welcomed by the fantastic community at Piccadilly Place. The feedback from customers has been incredible, and we look forward to serving even more people!”
Simon comes from 2 lines of farmers (his grandfathers were Robert & Victor, who of course inspired the company name) dedicated to growing high-quality ingredients. R&V continues that tradition by crafting fresh, flavourful dishes using only natural ingredients, free from artificial additives, preservatives, or flavour enhancers.
Sustainability is at the heart of R&V. From a strict no-plastic policy to eco-friendly cargo-bike deliveries, they take every step to minimise their carbon footprint.
Their ingredients are ethically sourced and seasonal, supporting local businesses such as La Chouquette in Didsbury for bread and pastries and the Halman family at Woodland Farm in Cheshire for fresh vegetables.
R&V’s shop menu focuses on delicious fresh ciabatta/ baguette sandwiches & toasted sourdough. These can be made bespoke or from their well-thought-out sandwich menu which includes amazing options such as the Spanish Chorizo with Manchego cheese, aioli and quince jelly.
They also offer breakfast toasties and speciality coffee made from incredible Arabica coffee beans.
Beyond the shop, R&V’s catering menu is extensive and includes breakfast offerings, sandwich platters, buffets, sharing platters (including cheese & charcuterie boards), canapes, bowl food & desserts.
They also specialise in drinks catering for corporate events with mobile bar hire to bring the bar to you. Service staff can be hired for events, as well as crockery, equipment & furniture hire, enabling clients to leave all the intricate details to the R&V team.
