Police have been pelted with fireworks by a huge group of youths in the street in Gorton this evening
Reports say a large mob of between 20 to 30 teenagers are understood to have built a ‘barricade’ on Vine Street, in Gorton, with wooden pallets and mattresses.
Around 20 youths set a bonfire on a childs park on Radley Drive this evening, prompting firefighters to be called.
Police attended the scene initially with a fire officer before they were attacked
