Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a serious assault which happened outside a pub on Dantzig Street in Manchester City Centre just after midnight in the early hours of Wednesday morning
The victim, a man in his 30s, suffered serious and potentially life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains.
Detective Constable Phillip Sargeant of Longsight CID said: “We are investigating a serious assault which left the victim with serious injuries which he was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains and we are following up on a number of lines of enquiry to establish a full timeline of events leading up to this incident.
