Palestinian Protesters broke into a factory in Brinnel Drive in Irlam this morning targeting a company that it believes is a supplier of Israeli weapons used in the conflict with Palestine
The group said that it raided the premises of Dean Group, a key supplier of components for Israel’s Elbit Systems
Stacks of the company’s products were found inside Elbit’s Instro Precision factory in Kent, who’ve held over 80 licenses to export weapons to Israel since 2016.
Police say they have arrested three people
In a statement they said that:
“We are currently responding to an incident on Brinell Drive in Irlam after receiving reports of intruders at around 4am.
“Officers attended and three females were later arrested on suspicion of burglary and remain in custody for questioning.
“A fourth woman has been located at the premises. Whilst there were initial concerns for her welfare, she is currently safe and engaging with officers.
“A contained scene remains in place alongside other emergency services, whilst enquiries continue.”
