The 2023/24 campaign was a season to forget for Marcus Rashford who struggled at Manchester United and was dropped from the England squad ahead of the 2024 European Championships. In his 33 games in the Premier League this season, the attacker only managed 7 goals. His last Premier League goal came in March.

It was no shock to see him miss out on the England squad for Euro 2024 due to his poor form and also due to the fact that attackers such as Anthony Gordon, Phil Foden, Cole Palmer and Eberechi Eze ended the season strongly.

With Erik ten Hag likely to stay as the manager of Manchester United, the future of many players at the club has been questioned, including Marcus Rashford. Despite winning the FA Cup last season, the Red Devils finished 8th and it understandably wasn’t good enough in the eyes of their fan base.

They managed to qualify for Europe, but they will definitely need more players in order to compete in all competitions to a high level. Last season, they had a lot of injuries and this was a big reason for them struggling to compete in the Premier League.

Due to this, it would not be a shock to see a lot of incomings and outgoings at Old Trafford over the summer. Rashford, who is still only 26 years old, has been linked to some big clubs, including French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite his poor season, the English winger is still being tipped to stay at Manchester United. Currently, the betting odds for Rashford staying at Manchester United are 1/3. Meanwhile, the odds of the player heading to PSG during the summer transfer window are 7/4.

With PSG losing Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer this summer, they are in dire need of a good forward, so you can see why Rashford has been linked to the Ligue 1 club.

The 26 year old has been at Man United ever since he was a child. He burst onto the scene after being in the academy at the club and scored 2 goals on his debut in the Europa League. Since then, Rashford has gone on to make over 400 appearances for the club, scoring 131 goals and picking up 65 assists.

With such a good goalscoring record, it is easy to see why he is attracting interest, and despite the poor campaign in 2023/24, Man United still have a top asset on their hands who can scare any defence when he is at his best.

Rashford will also be even more determined to turn things around after missing out on the England squad for Euro 2024. The break could do him some good as he can now focus on next season and getting back to his best. With over 130 goals for Manchester United, he is definitely an asset for the club. If Rashford is due to stay at the club like he is tipped to be then ten Hag needs to focus a lot of his efforts on getting the best out of the Englishman as it could be the difference between a good or a poor season.
