Manchester’s Aviva Studios has been included on Time Magazine’s list of the World’s Greatest Places of 2024
The list highlights 100 of the most exciting destinations from across the globe, including attractions, museums, restaurants
The home of Factory International joins places such as The Maui Cultural Lands Lahaina, Hawaii, the Kamba African Rainforest Experiences – Odzala-Kokoua National Park, Republic of the Congo and Pearling Path – Muharraq, Bahrain.
The list has been described asan eclectic mix of unique locations across the globe, like a chocolate factory in India and a cocktail bar in Brussels.
The magazine said of Aviva
“ This latest development, revitalizing an industrial tract along the River Irwell, serves as the new permanent home of the Manchester International Festival.
Travel industry trends often reflect the id of humanity: what the collective we desires most when unburdened from daily stressors and responsibilities,” the magazine’s editors wrote about the list. “While last year’s list featured 50 cities, this year we decided to explore even more − and more specific − establishments that stand out in their field, and the world.”
