Manchester Rum Festival Returns in July

Manchester Rum Festival makes its triumphant return, for the eighth year, on Saturday 26th July 2025 – and brings with it a newcomer to Manchester’s festival scene.  

Rum lovers will be treated to a whole seven days of rum based fun in the run up to the big day, with the launch of MANCHESTER RUM WEEK, which will take place from 21^st – 27^th July. 

Manchester Rum Week will enable you to take a tour of the city centre’s best rum and cocktail joints, where bartenders and venues showcase their curated rum serves and killer cocktails so you can get your taste buds geared up ahead the iconic festival.  Participating venues will be announcing their rum vibes over the coming weeks via www.instagram.com/manchesterrumweek

This year, the festival itself will be hosted at the iconic New Century Hall. It will feature tastings, the return of the Rum Ramble talks, tempting Caribbean food and tiki-style fun, Mancunian style! 

Partner in crime on the rum cocktail bar MONIN and new food vendor Elijo’s will headline the show, alongside some of the world’s most iconic rum brands of Mount Gay from Barbados, Chairman’s Reserve of Saint Lucia, Guyana’s Pusser’s and Don Papa from the Philippines. Newcomers making their debut in Manchester include Jamaica’s West Grove Rum Punch, a selection of unique single cask rare rums from the team at Precious Drops, and Henstone Distillery of Shropshire amongst many, many others. 

It promises an exclusive experience and a tasting tour of rums from around the world, all for less than £30.   

Founder Dave Marsland has dubbed this year a ‘game-changer’ for rum enthusiasts, as the UK welcomes some never-tasted-before spirits from global players keen to make their mark on the country’s most respected date in the rum calendar.  

For just £27.50 a ticket*, entrants will be treated to unlimited rum tastings, live entertainment with Soca and Reggae music by DJ Dom, discounts on bottles and a whole lot of fun and frivolity. This year, super rum-fans can also upgrade to join in with the Rum Ramble – an exclusive series of seminars and talks by the UK’s tip top rum talent.
