A man in his 60s has died in hospital after a suspected medical episode following a crash on Chaddock Lane in Worsley yesterday afternoon
Police say the man was driving Citroen C3 travelling inbound to Worsley when it collided with a stationary Toyota Rav 4 at a set of traffic lights.
A third vehicle was also involved – a Renault Master – which was hit by the Toyota due to the impact from the Citroen.
The occupants of the Toyota and the Renault were uninjured.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is now appealing for information as their enquiries continue.
This includes any relevant dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from around the time of the incident.
