A man was seriously assaulted and attended Salford Royal Hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not life-threatening or life-changing in Swinton this morning
The assault took place on Malcolm Avenue in Swinton at around 8.07am.
Police are now appealing for anyone with Ring doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage that can assist their investigation to come forward.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw a black Audi and white VW Golf acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
