The Labour Party have suspended the whip from its former Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott
It follows an article that she wrote in this morning’s Observer saying Jewish people do not face racism just prejudice akin to being a redhead.
Earlier Abbott had written that she had withdrawn the remarks and disassociated herself from them,blaming an error in the initial draft of the article
