Labour has retained control of Salford City Council,the local authority being the last of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester
Labour lost one seat to the Liberal Democrats in the Quays Ward with Jonathan Moore winning a 38-vote majority in the ward.
However the party won a seat from the Conservatives in Worsley, with James Prady with Ning with a majority of 350
The council was the last English Council to declare its results.
