Manchester City’s Jack Grealish his promise to a young fan from Chorlton High by dedicating his goal against Iran to him by doing the arm ‘worm’ celebration.
After the game Grealish explained that he had met Finlay, an 11-year-I old superfan who written a letter to the midfielder to praise him for raising awareness of cerebral palsy
Grealish promised Finlay that he would dedicate his next goal to him by doing a celebratory dance.
That goal came in the 88th of England’s opening game in the World Cup after the City player had come on as a substitute in the 6-2 victory
It will mean the world to him said Grealish adding “I don’t know how he’d rate my dance moves as I’m not the best dancer…unless it’s later in the night.”
