The Hot Wheels City™ Experience has officially zoomed into the B.E.C Arena in Central Manchester, bringing the legendary toy cars to life. Making its European debut, this brand-new excitement-fuelled experience has officially opened its doors ready to ignite the challenger spirit in everyone. With 10 immersive stations featuring interactive activities and numerous photo opportunities, visitors can embark on a nostalgic and exciting journey through the vibrant and thrilling world of Hot Wheels™.
Open until 12th September, families and Hot Wheels™ fans will have the opportunity to embark on a never-before-seen interactive journey, immerse themselves in a world of creativity and play with their favourite models as they explore a series of thrilling stations, including a projection-mapped design centre, immersive museum, gamer zone and Hot Wheels Lab featuring giant tracks and pre-built racecourses.
The journey begins with a captivating introductory video in the briefing room, offering a glimpse into the brand’s history and culture before accelerating swiftly into an immersive museum and expo, featuring over 1000+ original Hot Wheel diecasts, including historical graphics, classic artwork, and iconic life-sized cars. Visitors can get up close to the legendary life-sized models including the iconic Boneshaker and the futuristic Bad to the Blade, alongside the MG B-East, crafted by Michael Wallhead, winner of the UK Hot Wheels Legends Tour (2023).
After exploring the museum and expo, visitors can jump into the action at the Gamer Zone, perfect for console enthusiasts ready to show off their skills. Alternatively, they can head to the Design Centre, where both children and adults can unleash their creativity at the Digital “Build Your Car” and painting workshop where their designs are brought to life with the latest technology through vibrant projection mapping. Finally, the Hot Wheels Lab offers an exciting area for fans to enjoy popular Hot Wheels toys and have a chance to enjoy the “Hot Wheels Challenge Accepted Championships” with an opportunity to win some thrilling prizes.
Before heading home, guests can make a pit stop at the official merchandise store, where they can browse an exclusive selection of Hot Wheels-themed merchandise, including cars, tracks, clothing, and much more!
