Hidden, one of the UK’s most revered underground music venues, is set to reveal a striking transformation as it turns 10 this year. Following a major refurbishment, the venue has been completely revamped to offer an enhanced clubbing experience, ensuring that it remains a cornerstone of the UK’s nightlife scene. The reopening will take place over the weekend of Friday 7th and Saturday 8th March, featuring headliners Gilles Peterson and DJ EZ – and to kick off Hidden’s 10th birthday celebrations this year.
The extensive renovations have seen the entire venue undergo a complete overhaul, from the entrance through to the club itself. From a brand-new set of toilets, increasing capacity by 50% for greater convenience, to an entirely rebuilt bar in a separate room boasting a spacious seating and chill-out area and significantly expanded drinks menu including no- and low- alcohol options, and an improved access route to the smoking area. The new layout prioritises efficiency, cutting down wait times while enhancing service. Additionally, industry-leading lockers have been introduced, providing guests with a secure place to store belongings. Available for pre-booking, these lockers help minimise queuing.
Meanwhile, the club’s main room has been given a dramatic refresh with brand-new flooring, an improved Void sound system, and a cutting-edge lighting rig designed to create a more immersive and dynamic atmosphere.
