Bravissimi!

An Italian restaurant with owners from Bologna, the focus here is simplicity. A menu of eighteen dishes with thirty-seven ingredients used showing that the way you use and quality of ingredients is what is vital.

Pizza, Pasta and Focacce are the order of the day at Bravissimi! A small menu that will deliver for anybody no matter what their preferences are.

Go traditional and have the Marina pizza, humbly topped with San Marzano tomato, oregano, garlic and Taggiasca extra virgin olive oil it was made by the Fishermans wife to greet her husband back from fishing in the Bay of Naples.

Store Street Exchange

Located on the ground floor of the Hilton DoubleTree, Store Street Exchange offers a brasserie menu and afternoon tea with cocktail options. 

A relaxed atmosphere and open plan add to the experience with a menu full of options including rotisserie meats and burgers. 

Steaks and fish dishes are also available for a more refined plate of food.

Chez Mal at Malmaison

Chez Mal at Malmaison Manchester is the heart of the hotel and has menus including breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday lunch.

Evening meals change dependant on season keeping options fresh so you never have to have the same dish twice.

The creation of two Bradford lads, one a chef the other a craft beer bar owner. They came together to create BUNDOBUST who now have four locations across the UK with two in Manchester.

Small dishes including favourites such as Bhajis and Tarka Dhal and different dishes the small portions are perfect for sharing with excellent combo meals for larger parties. Try as much as you want and wash it down with a unique craft beer.

Chopstix Noodle Bar

National noodle bar Chopstix offer fresh nutritious Pan Asian food their innovative fusion recipes provide a tastier quick service which is also value for money.

ASK Italian

With locations all over the UK ASK Italian has been a staple in all cities throughout the country.

Providing a great and wide menu filled with Italian classics and offering a weekend set menu it is a great addition to the Piccadilly culinary scene.

Shoryu Ramen

Shoryu Ramen serves up some of the best southern speciality Hakata tonkotsu ramen outside Japan. Their head chef, Hakata born and raised, has perfected the ultimate tonkotsu broth to create a noodle base steeped in authenticity, passion and flavour.

The varied Shoryu menu is headed by ramen noodle dishes, made with 12-hour-cooked broth, juicy pork belly and a nitamago egg.

Barburrito

Barburrito is a British chain of Mexican style fast-food restaurants, focusing primarily on burritos. As of March 2020, the chain operates twenty-one stores across eleven towns and cities in the United Kingdom.

Barburitto was the UK’s first burrito bar and operates with customers picking their dish, fillings, extras and side so they get the dish exactly how they like.

Zizzi

Leon offers naturally fast food focusing on food that tastes good but still does you good serving breakfast options as well as an extensive main day menu.

Taking influence from a wide variety of street food vendors the owners have experience Flock , titled ‘The Penthouse of Chicken’ offers a wide variety of flavours from different cultures around the world.

Burgers, noodle dishes, rice dishes, over fries or wings the options seem limitless. A wide range of influences will have you stuck when deciding what to order.

Northern Soul Grilled Cheese Piccadilly

Cheese is king. Certainly at Northern Soul Grilled Cheese Piccadilly. A popular eatery in Manchester and a recognisable brand. Billed as the UK’s first grilled cheese restaurant the menu certainly does not disappoint.

Try the aptly named The Manc a delicious grilled cheese sandwich accompanied with a Mancunian spiced sausage patty, caramelised onion chutney, rocket and dijon mustard. Add a side of Sriracha glazed fried and wash it down with a soft drink or a shake. 

Add anything to your sandwich with the extras and you can customise it exactly to your taste. Northern Soul also provides mac n cheese pots and nacho baskets.

Salvi’s the home of traditional, authentic, Italian cuisine.

This is a restaurant and food business named after a father and inspired by a mother’s kitchen back home in Naples. A family-run establishment and our passion for the produce of our home region of Campania in Italy is behind everything that they do.

All of Salvi’s ingredients are sourced directly from their own, personally selected suppliers back in Naples, Sorrento and beyond – they are the best. You will not find these products on the menu anywhere else in Manchester.

Vapiano

Vapiano makes handmade pasta, freshly made pizza dough, & salads alongside the best buffalo mozzarella, meats & cheese antipasti plate.

Their restaurants are spacious with some seating looking over our open kitchen. A 100-year-old olive trees as part of the decor & fresh live herbs pots on every table.

Alston Bar & Beef

At Alston, they only serve the top 1% of beef on the market. Choose from one of our 35-day dry-aged steaks sourced by John Gilmour, a third-generation family butcher from the Scottish Borders.

Alston’s beef is supplied by John Gilmour & Co Ltd, an independent family run business established in 1946 who specialise in the supply of high-quality meats, in particular ‘Tweed Valley’ from the Scottish Borders, a nod to their heritage in Scotland.

Their ‘Tweed Valley Beef’ is aged for 35 days so it can achieve the perfect tenderness. J. Gilmour also dry hang their beef using chilled, dehumidified air which removes the moisture and allows the beef to mature for much longer.

Pho

Pho is a family-run business serving great value, healthy Vietnamese street food that is cooked fresh daily (no central kitchens!).

Mowgli Street Food

Mowgli is all about how Indians eat at home and on their streets. The restaurant was born to feed the raw need Indians have for tiffins full of fresh bright intense flavour.  Mowgli is not about the intimate, hushed dining experience. It is about the smash and grab zing of healthy, light, virtuosic herbs and spices.

Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant

Known for their football teams, music and nightlife, Manchester has always been a city after Gino’s heart.

He wanted to share his passion for classic well-sourced real Italian food, served in relaxed and stylish surroundings, with his Mancunian friends. So he opened my first restaurant in the iconic Corn Exchange and he was proud to offer everything from classic Neapolitan hand stretched pizza, freshly made pasta dishes and hearty mains prepared in the open kitchen to light cicchetti and aperitivo, which can be enjoyed out on the terrace. The product of a lady growing up in Thailand and moving to the UK via Hong Kong Rosa’s Thai Cafe aims to give diners beautiful Thai food with seasonal British ingredients now with restaurants around the country.

A wide variety of noodle, curry, grill and veggie dishes the menu is filled with delicious dishes.  

Hawksmoor

Located in a late Victorian courthouse on Deansgate, next door to Spinningfields, Hawksmoor’s aim is simple. To serve the best possible steaks in Manchester. And oh do they deliver!

All cuts of steak available cooked to absolute perfections. Other dishes include the Hawksmoor burger south coast monkfish and native lobster. Available sides help take the dining experience to another level with dripping fries, short-rib macaroni and roasted field mushrooms. Delicious.

A restaurant owned by the family of Manchester United midfield maestro Juan Manuel Mata Tapeo & Wine cooks up some authentic and tasty Spanish dishes.

Topkapi Palace

The dishes in the restaurant are of a high standard and good quality with dishes including lamb saddle and sage gnocchi.

Executive Head Chef Mike Jennings has created a menu that showcases the best of the Northwest, with an aim to source ingredients locally.

The Ivy

Situated on the ground floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, Manchester, The Ivy Brasserie is open seven days a week, serving modern British classics to suit all occasions. All-encompassing menus feature a variety of dishes including truffled orzo pasta, lobster linguine and slow-cooked lamb shoulder.

Bill’s

Situated in the heart of Spinningfields Manchester Bill’s restaurant is open from 07:00 during the week for breakfast, we will then be serving lunch and into the night our dinner menu will be available with dinner specials and cocktails.

Bill’s focuses on using seasonal ingredients in their dishes, their menus change regularly and they always like to ensure we give their guests plenty of healthy or indulgent dishes to choose between.

The Alchemist Spinningfields

A cocktail bar and restaurant in the heart of Spinningfields, Manchester! In the 19th century, Spinningfields was described as a “den of iniquity, teeming with opium dens, gin palaces and alehouses”. An apt birthplace for the original Alchemist.

The chefs will deliver glorious food inspired by worldwide cuisines to your table. With gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options aplenty, this is an ideal lunch and dinner spot in the heart of Manchester city centre.

Comptoir Libanais

The main focus at Comptoir Libanais is to create a restaurant was to ensure the guests fall in love with the Middle East and its bold flavours and generous hospitality.

The founder, Tony Kitous, has a dream is still to make Lebanese food as popular as Italian food because with a strong belief the food of the Middle East is the best in the world.

The menu consists of wraps, mezze and tagines. The Lamb Maqlooba Tagine consists of slow-cooked lamb shank with rice, pomegranate seed and mint yoghurt.

Fazenda

TNQ

Cafe North

Federal Cafe Bar

The owners opened Federal in 2014 and have ended up creating a community of like-minded souls who are passionate about great coffee and amazing brunch. The culture is what sets them apart from the crowd.

Making everything they possibly can on the premises using the best ingredients which they check daily for freshness & quality. These ingredients are all sourced from sustainable independent local suppliers wherever possible.

Earth Cafe

Priding themselves on our ever-changing menu of delicious vegan food. Earth Cafe offers a mix of classic dishes with a unique twist and original recipes created by their talented chefs.

Everything is purely from scratch, on the premises. Starting with the fresh vegetables and right down to the pastry.

There are at least 20 tubs of spices that line the kitchen shelf and these spices give a delicious twist to classic meals. For example, in the Caribbean curry, there is a unique mix of scotch bonnet, spring onions and thyme. And the black-eyed pea and sweet potato pie is just one of Earth Cafe’s many original recipes.

Northern Soul Deli Company

Cheese is king. Certainly at Northern Soul. A popular eatery in Manchester and a recognisable brand. Billed as the UK’s first grilled cheese restaurant the menu certainly does not disappoint.

Try the aptly named The Manc a delicious grilled cheese sandwich accompanied with a Mancunian spiced sausage patty, caramelised onion chutney, rocket and dijon mustard. Add a side of Sriracha glazed fried and wash it down with a soft drink or a shake.

Add anything to your sandwich with the extras and you can customise it exactly to your taste. Northern Soul also provides mac n cheese pots and nacho baskets.

Leo’s Fish Bar

Owners Alan and Joanne worked in the Middle East for many years. Coming back home during holidays was always something they looked forward to, especially good old traditional Fish and Chips and a Full English Breakfast. But often, wherever they ate, there always seemed to be something missing.

On returning to the UK permanently, Alan and Joannes passion for traditional food lead them to think further. The Great British Public deserved better!

And with that, Leo s was born.

Allotment 

Located in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, Allotment offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Go and laze the day away in their beautiful surroundings or why not prop up the bar up and sample a Gin from their extensive list of over 70.

They specialise in offering a playful twist on traditional British Cuisine and pride ourselves in only using local suppliers which ensures all dishes are seasonal, sustainable and fresh.

Try Allotment’s beetroot wellington or for the meat-eaters choose from their selection of 30 day matured steaks.

Erza & Gil

Ezra meaning ‘Helper’ & Gil meaning ‘Happiness’ is an evolutionary concept in urban coffee and cafe culture.

Founded in 2014 and opened June 2015, housed in an old un-occupied former clothing showroom on the ground floor the aim was to create a sharing space with a nod to making the solo diner and groups feel welcomed. The style always had to be industrial and stripped back hence the time taken in the search for the wonderful building Erza & Gil are in now.

All sandwiches are served on either sourdough or Italian style piadina flatbreads.

PLY

A spacious bar, restaurant and creative space in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
