it will officially open its doors on Saturday 2nd November, unveiling the transformation of the iconic Grade II listed building on the corner of Oxford Road and Grosvenor Street into a cutting-edge hybrid hospitality and social space.

Following its £1 million revamp, The Grosvenor will welcome the public into the immersive space on Saturday 2nd November from 5pm. Bringing the party, the launch night will feature renowned Manchester club night Edit Presents, taking over the venue with its house, funk, disco, and soul edits. Guests wishing to join in on the opening night celebrations can secure their entry, and free drink vouchers, by signing up to the venue’s newsletter here.

Marking The Grosvenor’s identity as a must-visit destination for live sporting action, the venue will feature a signature 5-metre screen, broadcasting every major live sporting event. To celebrate this commitment, the venue has partnered with TNT Sports to bring the genuine Premier League trophy to the venue on Sunday 3rd November, making it the perfect spot to catch the Manchester United vs Chelsea game, kicking off at 4:30pm.

With a capacity of 800 people, The Grosvenor promises to deliver the ‘ultimate adult playground’ experience where guests can dive into a massive 6×3 metre ball pit filled with thousands of pink and silver balls, challenge friends on beer pong and pool tables, snap selfies in the photo booth and even hop on a whimsical carousel horse.

The extensive £1 million renovation has preserved many original features of the building, including the iconic mezzanine and balustrade, while revealing hidden elements like walls and timbers that had been unseen for years. The décor will beautifully combine classic theatre and circus influences with modern touches and vibrant greenery, creating a welcoming environment for all guests.

Maintaining the venue’s history as a premier entertainment location in central Manchester, The Grosvenor will host an exciting lineup of local and international DJs, plus live music from local artists every Thursday and Sunday, making use of the venue’s original stage.

Chris Tulloch, Managing Director of the company behind the transformation, commented: “We are so excited to announce that The Grosvenor will officially open its doors on Saturday November 2nd and to welcome the community back into this historic space. Our team can’t wait for everyone to step into this exciting new space and experience the fun, whether that’s diving into the ball pit, dancing to live music, or grabbing a bite and a pint and watching sports, all while being surrounded by the rich history of this remarkable building.”

For those looking to make the most of their visit, The Grosvenor is launching its virtual ‘G Card’. The free membership means guests will be able to secure incredible perks like two-for-one pints, bottle deals and unbeatable shot offers. But even without the card, visitors can enjoy deals such as two-for-one wine and Prosecco on Thursdays, bottled beer specials, shot offers and two-for-one pizza all day on Sundays.

The venue will also host themed bottomless brunches every other Saturday on the mezzanine level for just £35 per person, including a dish from the main menu accompanied by 90 minutes of bottomless booze, launching with a nostalgic 90s throwback event on Saturday 9th November that can be booked here.

The Grosvenor doubles as the perfect venue for private events, offering everything from cosy private booths and lounge areas to full venue bookings for up to 800 guests, ensuring there’s space for every type of celebration.

Located at the bustling intersection of Oxford Road and Grosvenor Street, The Grosvenor will be open from 12pm to 12am, with extended hours until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.
