The countdown to ‘Glove Up’, a one-of-a-kind experience that combines boxing, entertainment, charity and networking, starts this week with the release of tickets.

Taking place at the iconic Albert Hall, the event will be teeming with style and sophistication with organisers urging partygoers to ‘run don’t walk’ to grab their seats for Saturday, August 10 when doors open at 6.30pm.

In a mash-up never seen before, there will be 10 boxers taking part in five fights all in the name of charity whilst legendary nighttime promoters, La Discothèque, will be putting on all the entertainment. Nationally renowned, they have a residency in Ibiza, were at Glastonbury this year and run some of the biggest club nights in the UK including selling out London’s legendary Fabric club.

Organiser Nik Braitch said: “All of our fighters are everyday people looking to be heroes for a day. They have been training meticulously for this night! On fight night, we will use cutting-edge technology to display fight stats on the big screen at Albert Hall, showcasing each fighter’s punches thrown, punch speed, and punch power.”

La Discothèque will run all the entertainment throughout the night, including performers walking around on stilts dressed in flamingo costumes and stage dancers.

The evening will culminate in a crescendo with a confetti cannon to mark the start of the after-party ready for everyone to dance the night away.

Tickets start from £50 and are available from Albert Hall or Glove Up’s website: CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS

They will be raising money for charities including the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
