“As Mike Tyson once said, everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face.” said Customer Relations Manager Mohsin at the Royal Nawaab, the newly opened Asian Restaurant located in one of the most iconic buildings in Manchester
The restaurant in Stockport’s Pyramid nestling against the M60 hadn’t d formally opened yet but in the 10 days of the soft launch, it has entertained over 10,000 customers
Located currently over two of the four floors in the building but with even more plans to expand, it took over 900 skips to convert the building into what can only be described as a grand palace
Water foundations and glittering lights greet you as you wak KB into the giant atrium which reaches up to the top of the pyramid spike.
It reminds one of a casino or grand hotel with marble floors and grand light shades set into the airy and light ceilings before entering a waiting room that would put mist airport lounges to shame
And we haven’t even got to the restaurant itself on the ground floor
A massive array of dishes which you serve buffet style goes from one end of the room to the other, with salads galore, starters, numerous main dishes with rice and breads and a sweet area with luscious treats if you still have room after the main courses
It’s all for a set price of £29.99 excluding drinks and £12.99 for the under 12’s
On the first floor, more extravagant dining on the first floor with immaculate laid tables which can accommodate upwards of 800 people and there are plans for more private dining areas on the next two floors
