Fire services have been tackling a blaze overnight at Clarendon Leisure Centre on Liverpool Street in Salford
The fire broke out around 3am
In a statement GMFRS said
At around 2.45am today (Friday, May 10) eight fire engines from across Greater Manchester plus the command support unit from Hyde fire station, the prime mover from Bolton fire station, and the technical response from Leigh were called to a fire involving a leisure centre off Liverpool Street, Salford,
Liverpool Street in both directions remains closed from Fitzwarren Street to A5063 Albion Way.
