The blaze at the premises of Building Chemical Research Ltd on Mount Sion Road in Radcliffe has been put out
The fire which broke out around 6.00pm last night saw huge plumes of black smoke which was seen from miles around with residents nearby advised to keep their doors and windows closed and people told to avoid the area where possible.
It was put out around 10.00pm with a road closure in place overnight while the fire investigation team establishes the cause of the blaze
