Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue derive marked a major milestone in their Estates Improvement Programme as demolition of our old Whitefield Community Fire Station begins
This is the first step towards welcoming a brand-new, modern community fire station in Whitefield that’s greener, more accessible, and designed with our firefighters and local residents in mind.
Construction of the new station will begin soon and is expected to be completed by October 2026.
While building works are underway, Whitefield’s firefighters will continue serving the local community from a temporary station on site.
