The family of Jean Catherine Day, 83, have paid tribute to a ‘loving mother and grandmother’ following a fatal road traffic collision on Ashton Road, Oldham on Sunday 27 October.
She was taken to hospital for treatment, but despite the best efforts of emergency services and hospital professionals, she sadly passed away.
In a heartfelt tribute, Jean’s family said: “Very sadly and unexpectedly Jean passed away after a short stay in hospital on 21 November 2024. She was 83 years old.
“She was a small lady with a huge and feisty personality, a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
“God bless and may she rest in peace.”
