The family of Joan Glue who had just turned 72 from Dukinfield and who sadly passed away days after a serious road traffic collision in Mossley have paid tribute to her
Describing Joan, her family said; “She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed socialising with her friends at Beatrix House, usually playing bingo and watching films on movie afternoons.
“She also liked going out for meals and shopping. She was so proud of her family and loved showing her grandchildren off to everyone she met. She was an avid fan of the soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street, never missing an episode and was a great friend to many, as well as being a much loved member of the Glue family.”
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the incident which occurred on Stamford Road in Mossley on Wednesday 18 September
