The family of missing man Steven Caulfield have spoken about his disappearance three weeks on.

The search remains ongoing for the  70-year-old from Stockport who has been missing since Tuesday 1 October

Police in Stockport have been working hard to find him, this includes us searching significant areas where Steven was known to frequent alongside CCTV trawls and speaking to people in the local area.

The last known sighting of Steven was in the vicinity of the golf course next to Middlewood Way, Marple, at around 4pm on 1 October

CCTV shows that Steven was wearing a distinctive blue parka style coat with a fur hood, a baseball cap, black jeans, a black v neck jumper and white trainers.

Steven’s family said: “We just want to express how much we miss Steven.

“As a family we are trying to stay positive and we are appealing to anyone who thinks they may have seen Steven to speak to police and please check your CCTV.”

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Wrench of GMP’s Stockport district, said: “We’re all continuing to work hard to find Steven ever since he was reported missing to us, even with the time passed we are still pushing forwards with enquiries to locate him and reunite him with his family.

“We are also supporting his loved ones and keeping them updated with our work and despite all of our collective efforts Steven’s whereabouts are still yet to be determined.

“We continue to use all available resources to help us locate Steven and we have released a picture and video footage of his last known location, were you near Middlewood Way in Marple and saw him or noticed something suspicious?”
