Eat Well MCR has launched a raffle with an incredible prize to help raise funds for their work delivering meals to people facing food poverty in the Manchester region. The prize consists of nine dining experiences from some of the very best the North West has to offer plus two gourmet treats from local epicurean independents.

One lucky winner will win everything on the list which includes dinners from chefs and restaurants that have appeared in the Michelin Guide, Great British Menu, the National Restaurant Awards, in the 50 Best Gastropubs, in Code’s annual 30 under 30 list and award winners from the Manchester Food and Drink Festival.

The prizes are:

  • Dinner for 2 at Australasia, Manchester
  • £75 Voucher for OSMA, Prestwich (Dani Heron – NW, Great British Menu Season 2023)
  • £100 Voucher for 10 Tib Lane, Manchester

The lucky winner will be announced the day following this years’ fundraising dinner kicking off the Northern Restaurant and Bar Exhibition (NRB2023), a hospitality trade show which takes place at Manchester Central on 14th-15th March.

The fundraising dinner will be held at Australasia on Monday the 13th of March. This is the second year running a Living Ventures Group restaurant has generously hosted the event with no costs to Eat Well MCR, maximising donations to fund meals.

Eat Well MCR is a collective of Manchester-based chefs that provide meals to people sidelined by poverty. Between April 2020 and now Eat Well MCR provided over 75,000 chef made meals to children and families experiencing homelessness, women taking refuge in sheltered accommodation, parents of long-term sick children, food banks and schools supporting families experiencing food poverty.
