Polish Restaurant Platzki is excited to welcome back its beloved Pierogi Festival on May 14th & 15th at the Great Northern Warehouse—a two-day celebration of Poland’s most iconic comfort food.
Expect handmade pierogi in seven mouthwatering varieties, from rich slow-cooked pork neck and tender beef heart to creamy spinach and feta.
Classics like the soulful Ukrainian-style dumplings will be there, along with sweet surprises like vanilla dessert pierogi and silky curd-filled delights.
Whether you lean savoury, sweet, or somewhere in between, there’s a flavour to make your taste buds dance. No bookings needed—just walk in, eat in, or grab your pierogi to go. Join Platzki for a feast of flavour, fun, and pure pierogi magic.
The restaurant is also introducing its brand-new Early Dinner Menu—served Wednesday to Saturday, from opening until 5:30pm.
The menu is a celebration of traditional Polish comfort food with Platzki’s signature flair. Start with the soup of the day and sourdough or try kaszanka—crispy black pudding croquettes with a tangy shallot salad. You’ll also find kielbasa, fried Polish sausage with caramelised onions, and Platzki’s namesake potato pancake topped with smoked salmon and soured cream.
Mains are rich, warming, and perfect for unhurried afternoons. Try the karkowka—slow-roasted pork neck in a peppercorn sauce with baby potatoes, or gulasz, a hearty beef and ox heart stew served with crispy potato pancakes. For something from the grill, the szaszlyk chicken skewers are marinated and flame-grilled, served with garlic sauce and potatoes.
Desserts include a slice of Polish baked cheesecake with whipped cream, or warm apple pie served with cream.
