The experts in delicious bakes and sweet treats, Alex’s Bakery, has today announced the launch of a brand new all-day brunch menu following bakery expansion.
Alex’s Bakery which has been providing baked goodies to the people of Manchester since 2014, is now able to offer an all day brunch menu at Manchester’s ultimate dining and leisure destination, Great Northern Warehouse.
The delicious new menu which features popular brunch favourites, will be available Monday to Saturday between 9am – 5pm and Sunday 9am – 4pm.
Whether you’re a lover of eggs cooked all ways, or have more of a sweet tooth, the new brunch menu which was developed in-house by the bakery’s chef Fiorella and Alex’s husband Roger, promises a tasty breakfast for all.
The new menu includes brunch staples such as scrambled eggs & bacon served on home-made sourdough toast baked lovingly in Alex’s bakery and avo-toast complete with hummus, sliced avocado, rocket, cherry tomatoes in balsamic vinegar, dressed with a drizzle of honey.
If you are in the mood for something sweet, Alex’s brioche French toast is topped with mixed berry compote, mascarpone and lots of syrup and cream.
Sweet treat lovers, fear not, Alex’s famous iced cakes, gooey brownies, afternoon tea and jaw-dropping occasion cakes are still very much on offer at the Deansgate bakery.
Alex’s Bakery, which was founded by Brazilian-born Alexandra Furlan, initially opened on Deansgate Mews in 2019 and moved to Deansgate Terrace in 2020. Five years later, and after multiple expansions, Alex’s Bakery continues to grow from strength to strength.
The addition of a new baking kitchen, located on the upper level of Deansgate Mews, combined with the indoor seating available at their current location, allowed the independent business to develop and launch this new brunch menu.
