Enough is Enough are holding a series of rallies across the country over the coming weeks
Amongst their demands are a significant rise in the national minimum wage and a path to £15 an hour, a real public sector pay rise, and an inflation busting-rise in pensions and benefits.
They want a cancellation of the October energy price cap and a return to the level of last April and want to enshrine the Right to Food in law and put this into practice by introducing universal free school meals, community kitchens, and reinstating the £20-a-week Universal Credit uplift.
Earlier this week the Mayor told the Scotsman newspaper that his Manchester mayor role gave him a new ‘perspective’ on the case for independence.
He also called for Home Rule for Scotland short of a border, proportional representation for the Commons, and senate of nations + regions to replace the House of Lords
