Sundays are about to get a whole lot more tail-waggingly exciting in Manchester! The Museum of Illusions on Market Street is launching a series of special dog-friendly sessions this summer, inviting four-legged companions and their humans to explore the museum together for the very first time.

The first session takes place on Sunday, 8th June, with additional dates on 29th June, 13th July, and 27th July. Guests can choose from two time slots on each date: 10am–1pm or 5pm–8pm.

Visitors (and their pups) will have the chance to immerse themselves in over 60 jaw-dropping illusion exhibits – from swapping noses to flying into infinity – all while enjoying adorable photo opportunities, pup-approved treats, and a few surprise extras designed to keep tails wagging and cameras clicking.

Spaces are limited and booking is essential, making early reservations highly recommended.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, the museum asks that:
All dogs be calm, friendly, and comfortable in stimulating environments
There is one dog per adult guest
Only short, non-extendable leads are used
Owners come prepared with poo bags
Banned or restricted breeds, including XL Bullies, are not permitted in accordance with UK legislation

Whether you’re swapping faces with your best friend or posing mid-air in a gravity-defying room, these special dog days are set to be a highlight of the summer calendar.
