The UK’s longest indoor snow slope, Chill Factore, opened its doors to St. Bernard dogs, and their owners when it launched the UK’s first pop-up doggy cafe on REAL snow.
The cafe, dedicated to the loveable breed, had 40 saints come marching in when it opened at the Manchester snow slope this week, including members of the St. Bernard Society from across the North West.
Pups, owners and doggy enthusiasts were all treated to their very own winter wonderland complete with a visit from Santa himself during their snowy cafe experience.
Christmas came early for the furry friends that attended as they were treated to Pawsecco and a selection of tasty treats. Not wanting to forget the humans, the cafe also offered owners delicious cupcakes whilst they partied to festive tunes on the sub-zero snow slope.
On the event, a member of the St. Bernard Society said, “This was the ultimate early Christmas present for my pooch. I’m always looking for fun, pet-friendly events to take my dog to, so when I saw that Chill Factore were hosting a cafe especially for St. Bernard’s I leapt at the chance.”
Chill Factore spokesperson, Laura McKiernan said, “We know that pets are often considered part of the family, so wanted to open our slope to St. Bernard dogs and show that we truly are a family-friendly destination.
“We’re so pleased with its success – you never know, maybe we’ll introduce more cafe’s for other breeds!”
Chill Factore’s St. Bernard’s pop-up cafe was the first cafe of its kind in the region, and in the UK.
