A collision between two trains in northern Greece has killed at least 29 people and injured dozens more

Rescuers have been working to save passengers and extinguish a fire caused by the crash.

There were about 350 people on the train according to reports which crashed into a freight train

The collision of passenger and freight trains occurred near the village of Evangelismos near the city of Larisa around 235 miles north of Athens

Witnesses in the aftermath of the crash described an intense fire on one of the carriages,
