Recognized as the home of luxury brands in Manchester, Alo becomes the latest retailer to select New Cathedral Street for its first location in the city joining recent arrivals Arc’teryx and Represent, after signing a 10-year lease to occupy a 7,018 sq ft unit.
Founded in Los Angeles, Alo has built a strong following worldwide with its studio-to-street performance wear, blending technical excellence with contemporary fashion. The brand is a favourite among wellness enthusiasts and celebrities alike, offering a curated collection of elevated performance and lifestyle apparel for both women and men, designed to inspire mindful movement and modern living.
Located, opposite Manchester Arndale, Sovereign Centros from CBRE on behalf of M&G Real Estate and Global Mutual act as joint asset managers of New Cathedral Street, which is also home to premium brands including Harvey Nichols, Zara, Paul Smith, Hugo Boss, and Ralph Lauren.
Alo’s arrival showcases how New Cathedral Street and Manchester have become a magnet for fast growing brands keen to access the retail destination’s premium shopper audience.
