A 77-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that are thought to be life changing after a robbery in Rochdale yesterday.
Police believe that the victim was walking down the street when she was knocked to the floor by an unknown suspect, before having her handbag stolen.
The incident happened on the corner of Crosby Street and Leyton Street in Rochdale at 10:40am.
Officers investigating this incident have followed up with several lines of enquiry and are now in a position to ask for the public’s assistance.
