A 39 year old man has died after a car crash in Knutsford at the weekend,Cheshire Police have cinfirmed
The man from Macclesfield was driving a green Jaguar Sovereign car when it collided with a blue Scania horsebox on the Mobberley Road, Knutsford near the social club around 8.30 on Saturday evening
The driver sadly died at the scene. Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by police.
The driver of the horsebox, and the horse were uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision as well as any dashcam footage that may assist in the investigation.
