A 30-year-old female pedestrian is in hospital with serious and potentially life-changing injuries after being hit by a car in Salford yesterday
The driver, Black Volkswagen Golf R travelling along Cromwell Road, towards the junction Jockey Street, a 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody for questioning.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident – or may have dashcam or doorbell footage – to please share it with officers in GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
