A boy has been charged in relation to an attempted rape in Wythenshawe.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted rape, kidnap and kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence and will appear at Manchester Youth Court today .
The charges relate to an incident at Simonsway shortly after 8.30pm on Wednesday 9 October following reports of an attempted rape of a 43-year-old woman.
