The Gin Lounge

There’s a three day gin extravaganza coming to Manchester from the 28th – 30th September!

In association with their mixer sponsors Fentimans and in partnership with the Manchester Food and Drink Festival, The Gin Lounge are hosting a 3-day gin extravaganza. The Gin Lounge gin festival will be taking over the beautiful Victorian Upper Campfield Market from the from the 28-30th of September.

The Gin Lounge have been putting on gin schools and their gin blending classes across the UK, delighting over 10,000 people so far this year. Throughout the day and evening, distillers will share their skills in a series of gin master classes hosted by distillers and along with their mixer sponsors Fentimans, there will be an exclusive Fentimans Lab with Fentimans Head Flavourist Geraldine Coombes and Cocktails classes. In total, there will be more than 100 gins on display to taste and learn about!

Fentimans will have their array of mixers to taste, including their Rose Lemonade and Pink Grapefruit Tonic Water and if that wasn’t enough, there will even be the opportunity to create your own, bespoke gin at special workshops, where visitors can choose the botanicals and flavourings to craft their perfect drink.

It’s very important to us that our shows educate and inspire and there will be all kinds of gin at our show including London Dry, Old Tom and flavoured gins. We have a fabulous and experienced team who cannot wait to wax lyrical about premium craft gins!”.

All the gins at the bar will also be available to buy to take home from the festival shop. The Gin Lounge festival is split into four sessions across the three days: Friday September 28, 6-9pm; Saturday September 29, 12-4pm and 5-9pm; and Sunday September 30, 12-4pm.

Early bird tickets are on sale now on a first come first served basis priced at £22.50 each or two for £40 for Friday’s three-hour session. Tickets to the four-hour sessions on Saturday and Sunday cost £25 each or two for £45. All tickets include a commemorative glass and all 15ml gin samples and mixers. Tickets do not include masterclasses or cocktails. Two-hour taster tickets are also available for the daytime sessions priced at £15.
