The city of Manchester is the home of British Cycling, with many of our British cycling hero’s now based in the area.
With the National Cycling Centre at its heart and, the University of Manchester’s Manchester Cycling Lab, the city has some of the best cycling facilities in the UK hosting biggest national and international cycling events in the sporting calendar.
There are nearly 50 cycle clubs in Greater Manchester, catering to many styles of cycling with a range of mass participation cycling events including The Manchester Sky Ride, the Great Manchester Cycle and even a naked bike ride held annually early in the summer.
