Greater Manchester Firefighters have spent the night tackling a blaze at an industrial unit on the Roundthorn Industrial Estate in Wythenshawe
Fire broke out on the site around 9.30 and ten fire crews brought the incident under control but as the fire was still generating smoke, and residents in the area were advised to keep windows and doors closed.
The fire spread to two floors of the industrial unit and Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus worked hard throughout the night to tackle the blaze and successfully bring it under control using hose reels & specialist appliances.
This morning two fire crews remain at the scene involved in damping down operations
