Corn Exchange Manchester has confirmed Döner Haus as the newest addition to its eclectic dining offering.

Set to open later this year, the huge restaurant will serve Berlin-inspired quality kebabs and other German classics, alongside beers and cocktails.

The 180-cover restaurant will take over the former Byron site in the iconic Grade II listed city centre building, which faces onto Cathedral Gardens and includes dining space in the atrium. The first-floor space will also be transformed into a stylish bar area.

Kebabs start at £7.70 and are served on sourdough fladenbrot, with other dishes including flatbread, schnitzel and a foot-long frankfurter or bratwurst. Vegan options include falafel bites, a vegan schnitzel and a veganwurst.

This will be the second site for Döner Haus, which currently has a popular restaurant in Glasgow.
