Lowry Outlet, MediaCityUK, is hosting The Makers Market to bring its shoppers an array of quality artisan foods, drinks and award-winning craftsmen to its open-air Plaza area.

Families can make a day of it, couples can indulge and friends can catch up over a cup of craft coffee or a traditional real ale. As well as showcasing award-winning local food, drink, art and craft producers, there will also be live music, performance, cookery demonstrations and activities for children too.

Lowry Outlet Makers Market will host 107 different stalls– with stall holders changing each day, meaning there is something new to come and see. Whether it’s something for dinner, a unique gift for someone special or stocking up on those everyday essentials, Lowry Outlet Makers Market is a wonderful day out for the whole family.

During the weekend, shoppers can browse award-winning cheeses and pies, locally brewed ales, doorstop sized brownies, posh tarts, rustic breads, vegan treats, spicy sauces, locally produced jams and chutneys and salt and spice gins. Discover vintage trinkets and handmade crafts, plus Urban Photography from Ben Sedman, potted plants by the talented couple behind Shrubbies and retro and music lead art by Salford artist, The No.71 Legends Room.

Victoria Jackson, Event Director of The Makers Market, said ‘We are thrilled to be working with Lowry Outlet on this event. It is a privilege to bring together a fabulous mix of artisans and food talent, which complements the Lowry Outlet’s current offerings. We will be showcasing handpicked producers and arts and crafts, with tantalising products designed to inspire.”

Lowry Outlet Makers Market will run 10am-7pm on Saturday 24th September and 11am-5pm on Sunday 25th September.
