Next season’s National League Fixtures are out today and the region’s  sides have been handed some interesting games in the National League One.

Stockport County begin their campaign with a trip to the North East and a visit to newly promoted Spennymore Town on the 5th August with the first home game sees a local derby against Curzon Ashton on Tuesday August 8, followed by a home clash with Harrogate Town the following Saturday and then County make the short journey to bookies’ favourites Salford City on Tuesday August 15.

County legend Alun Armstrong will bring his newly-promoted Blyth Spartans team to Edgeley Park on Saturday October 14.

The festive double-header will see County host Alfreton Town on Boxing Day, before heading to the Impact Arena for the return fixture on January 1.

Curzon meanwhile begin their campaign  by welcoming North Ferriby United to the Tameside Stadium.

They travel to Chorley the following Saturday after their clash with Stockport while other key dates early in the season see Curzon host local rivals Salford City and FC United of Manchester on back-to-back Saturdays in early September.

Bradford Park Avenue are the opponents for the traditional Boxing Day and New Year’s Day double.

FC United meanwhile begin with the long trip to play Brackley Town on Saturday 5th August, followed with home matches against newly-promoted Spennymoor Town and one of the title favourites Kidderminster Harriers.

Holiday fixtures include an August Bank Holiday Monday trip to York City and the mouth-watering prospect of a Boxing Day and New Year’s Day double header with Salford City. Easter Monday sees York City visit Broadhurst Park.

New League opponents, Leamington, travel to Broadhurst Park on 2nd September, quickly followed on the following by  Blyth Spartans.

Salford City start their campaign with a home game against Darlington before trips to Chorley and Telford.
