Haggis, Neeps and Tatties’ on toast.

Outstanding new casual dining restaurant, TOAST, is celebrating the life of the greatest Scot of all time with a new signature dish.

What could be more fitting to celebrate Robert Burns, the pioneer of the ‘Romantic Movement’, than to treat yourself to a full Burns supper on toast. Burns Night, which is on 25/01/2018, will see TOAST serve up delicious ‘Haggis, Neeps and Tatties’ on toast.

A slice of juicy haggis is accompanied by pan fried tasty baby turnips and mustard seed swede and topped with a perfectly fried egg.  As with everything in TOAST the ingredients are served on your choice of toast.  Choose from five different varieties (and a gluten free option) of bread freshly baked by Levenshulme-based family bakery, Trove.

Co-Owner Justin Orange said; “We’ve enjoyed every day since opening and have already grown a great loyal group of regulars. We’re proof there is a limitless amount of fun you can have with a slice of toast. Our head chef Ed Carr has literally created a real Burns celebration on toast.”

Since opening in October 2017 TOAST has been serving all day breakfast dishes and light bites, lunch mains and desserts; from their stunning new eaterie on the ground floor of the beautifully renovated old bank building, on Stamford New Road, at the edge of Goose Green, in Altrincham.

‘Haggis, Neeps and Tatties’ is available as a main dish on the current lunch menu priced £8.50.

Opening hours will be: 8am – 6pm, Monday – Saturday.  For more information & reservations click here.
