Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body of a man was found in Rochdale last night  at a property on Palatine Street.

Detective Superintendent Debbie Dooley, from GMP’s Rochdale borough, said: “We have a team of detectives doing everything they can to identify this man and uncover what happened to him.

“Three people are currently in custody and they will be questioned by officers as this investigation continues.

“I must stress that we are in the very early stages of enquiries and we are trying to gather as much information as possible about the circumstances surrounding this man’s tragic death.

“A crime scene will remain in place at the property and officers will continue to speak to residents to see if they heard or saw anything that could help us.

“If you do have any information, no matter how small you think it might be, please call us.”
