Fashion and photography-lovers rejoice, The Trend Edit has arrived at Manchester Arndale to celebrate the launch of AW18 fashion and you offer the chance to win a £500 new season wardrobe.

An art installation with a difference, The Trend Edit, brings together eye-catching colours, prints and objects in intertwining areas to represent four of this season’s best and brightest trends – Animal Instinct, Check Mate, Floral Tribute and High Shine.

Located on the lower mall near the LEGO store, the installation brings together a labyrinth of corridors and enclosed spaces. Shoppers can walk through the immersive maze-like structure to view the trends as well as a selection of key pieces from the centre’s biggest fashion brands, providing all the inspiration you’ll need when updating your wardrobe.

The Trend Edit also provides a wealth of photo opportunities to keep your social feeds looking on top form. Alongside the various prints, the installation offers a series of Insta-worthy additions for shoppers to make the most of.

For those who love all things neon, Animal Instinct includes a “Wild at Heart” neon sign to rival Dirty Martini’s popular halo wings. For the glass-half-full shopper, the High Shine metallic area includes a sequin shimmer wall adorned with “Good Vibes Only” messaging in bright pink, as well as a glitter ball wall and mirrored flooring.

The main wall in the Floral Tribute section features a series of intricate flower designs, opposite a floral garland and garden swing – take a seat and ask a friend to capture the scene. Head round the corner to Check Mate and explore the intricate woven thread display overlapping the check and houndstooth prints now in the stores for AW18.

Finally, visit the upper mall to snap a birds’ eye view of The Trend Edit. There’s even the chance to win a £500 AW18 wardrobe simply by snapping and sharing your favourite trend on social. Enter the competition on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Instagram Story using #MCRTrendEdit and tagging Manchester Arndale. Terms and conditions apply.

Lisa Hawkins, Head of Marketing at Manchester Arndale, said: “This season is all about standout prints, and our stores are now filled with new collections featuring eye-catching animal prints, winter floral designs, classic checks and daring metallic pieces. The Trend Edit will exhibit our pick of some of the most sought-after pieces available right now, with new items added each week, as well as offering shoppers the opportunity to have fun, capture beautiful images and win £500 towards their next wardrobe update.”

The Trend Edit will be located on the lower mall at Manchester Arndale (near the LEGO store) until Sunday 21 October.
