Hale Barns Events is proud to announce the Hale Barns Christmas Concert on Sunday 17th December staged inside Holy Angels Church, and  can now confirm their headline act; the incredible Jona Lewie!

Jona Lewie will be performing his hits live in Hale Barns including ‘Always find me in the Kitchen at Parties and the huge Christmas hit; ‘Stop The Cavalry’ which has sold millions of copies worldwide and can be found on virtually every Christmas CD, With this performance being his ONLY festive performance in the North of England following his London Wembley Arena concert a few days prior, grab your ticket early!

Joining Lewie for this festive spectacular is a selection of the best local artists including the teen soprano sensation; Scarlett Quigley who wowed audiences at the recent Hale Barns Carnival in July;

Organiser Max Eden said of Scarlett’s return; ‘We are very excited to have Scarlett return to Hale Barns after proving a massive hit at the Carnival and we’re very excited to hear her perform some classic Christmas numbers with that powerful voice.”

The beautiful sound of the Di Voci ladies choir will be present on the Sunday 17th December event too as the choir along with the Festival Chamber Orchestra are also added to the bill, with St Ambrose Choir and Kaleidoscope Big Band completing the line up.
There is also a number of special surprises planned for the concert but Organiser;Max is keeping those tightly under wraps until the big night,”

‘This has to be the perfect Christmas concert line up for the whole family to enjoy, to have Jona Lewie perform in Hale Barns is a real honour just days after his show at Wembley Arena in London, performing in the village alongside our amazing local talent; our recent Festival Orchestra who sold out the venue last month is returning with a chamber version with the superb Kaleidoscope’s big brass and horn section also performing; it’s going to sound like Christmas should!’

The concert takes place on Sunday 17th December at 7pm after the fantastic free outdoor events going on in the village on the Sunday which includes over 35 gift, craft and food stalls, children’s rides, a visit from Santa Claus and a free firework display sponsored by Sunrise Senior Living.

All money raised goes to funding the new community hall in Hale Barns with over £200,000 already raised, the project hopes to break ground next year.
