It seems the thirst for fizz has not been quenched yet with the expansion of regular Fizz Club nights throughout Manchester and Cheshire.

The membership club was set up by Fizz Festival organisers to provide more bijou tasting events where fizz fans can learn about every type of bubbly from around the world, including Champagne, Cava, Prosecco and English Sparkling wine.

Most events involve meeting the actual producer or supplier which gives the club an exclusive vibe, without being stuffy.  Their Club nights always involve great food too which has led to partnerships with amazing restaurants and bars such as El Gato Negro and Randall & Aubin in Manchester, Bistro Pierre in Altrincham and The George Charles on Burton Road, West Didsbury.

Upcoming events have been announced right through until the end of May and visits from Codorniu, one of the great Cava producers in Spain, Just Perfect Wines (a specialist Prosecco and Italian sparkling wine importer) and Esprit de Champagne.

The latter wowed The Fizz Festival visitors as they scooped Best Champagne award at the Festivals in Cheshire and Yorkshire.  They supply top quality boutique grower/producer Champagnes which are rare, delicious and not a bad price either

This all pretty much sums up the ethos behind the Festival.  Not just a drinking gig but a great opportunity to learn more about fizz, meet passionate producers and confirm what we already know which is that bubbly is special and something to be celebrated – chin chin to that
