Experience Salford’s beautiful Buile Hill Park in a whole new light on Wednesday 28 October, as it is transformed into a spooky woodland for a line-up of Halloween hunts, walks and craft activities to terrify and tantalise the whole family.

Starting at 1pm, families can unleash their little monsters to enjoy frightful face painting, gruesome glitter tattoos and other spooky crafts, as well as a bouncy castle, fairground rides and food stalls. A Halloween Hunt (3:30pm – 4:30pm) is great fun for little ones, as they make their way through the woodland hunting for hidden pumpkins.

As darkness falls, the Witches Walk commences (from 4:45pm). Families will encounter spooky zones around the park with terrifying special effects, scary ghosts and ghouls and death-defying fire acts. Actors, dancers and stilt walkers will guide visitors on their way – prepare to be scared and don’t forget your torch!

The event is free to enter, including all craft activities. Additional charges apply for stalls and rides. Tickets for the Halloween Hunt are £1 per child (under 2s go free). Tickets for the Witches Walk are £1 per person (under 2s go free) – last entry to join the walk is 6pm.
