Banyan Bar & Kitchen asserts itself as the hottest new opening on Manchester’s bar and restaurant scene opening Saturday 27 October.

With a real focus on creating a sumptuous, stylish, chic setting which will take guests from business brunches and late lunches to after work drinks and cocktails in the early hours of the morning, it’s very clear that Banyan is preparing to open a venue which will more than just cater to its surroundings but cement itself as part of Manchester’s drinking, dining and dancing life.

Promising lush chocolate brown leather chesterfield booths, copper tables and bar surfaces, decadent lighting and stunning duck egg hues – the venue will be as pleasing on the eyes as the food and drink is on the lips. A mezzanine level will be able to play host to private parties helping to service the major law firms, accountancies and brand agencies peppered around the district.

The upper level will feature the Empress Bar, taking its name from Empress 1908 Victoria gin and lit in beautiful indigo neon. This inspiration for the Empress bar makes for a dynamic and original center piece at Banyan Spinningfields.

The kitchen will have two menus to take diners through the day. Starting the day with a smile, the brunch menu will feature Crab and Avocado, as well as Eggs and Halloumi, perfect for breakfast meetings and busting away a heavy Friday or Saturday night. The main menu has a host of great dishes from lighter bites such as the Yoga Bowl and the Bang Bang Chicken Salad, favourites from the grill like the Banyan Burger and the Rib Eye Steak and main meals such as Steak and Ale Pie.

Differentiating from its sister restaurant in the Corn Exchange – Banyan Spinningfields will also have a real focus on evening entertainment as the venue comes to life in the night time with the best DJs and live acts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with an upbeat mix of funk, soul and modern feel-good classics.

Martin Wolstencroft, CEO of Arc Inspirations said: “This is set to be our biggest opening to date – with one of the most envious locations in the city, stunning fit out and amazing food and drink, we’re confident that Banyan Spinningfields will quickly establish itself as the must-visit bar and restaurant on the Manchester scene.

“Our attention to detail and experience has been channelled into creating an amazing menu, signature cocktail list and atmosphere which will bring people back time and time again, we can’t wait to open our doors at the end of October and show the world.”
